Prospect of an all-English final in the UEFA Champions League is on the cards when Manchester United play host to formidable AC Milan in the semifinals at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

On the other hand, Liverpool will face Chelsea in the other semifinal to book the place in final of the most coveted football tournament in Europe.

Though, Manchester United is in top form at Champions League this season after thrashing Roma 7-1 but injury crisis especially in the defense is a serious headache for Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

It is worthwhile remembering that captain Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand and Vidic are already ruled out for Red Devils and with the likes of Louis Saha and Park Ji Sung also missing from the action, Manchester United is feeling the heat.

Because of this, Manchester United’s hopes of playing in the final of UEFA Champions League will rest on the hands of the in-form Cristiano Ronaldo and striker Wayne Rooney. Taking into account, defensive woes of United, Ferguson will hope that Ronaldo and Rooney score at least 2-3 goals against the tight AC Milan defense to give the United defense a breathing space.
